Cooking Chance Tooltip Plugin

A RuneLite plugin that displays cooking success chances and XP estimates in tooltips when hovering over cookable items.

Features

• Success Chance Display: Shows cooking success chances for both fire and range cooking methods
• XP Estimation: Displays estimated XP gain when hovering over items in the bank
• Color-coded Chances: Success chances are color-coded for easy reading:

- Green (95%+): Excellent success rate

- Light Green (80-94%): Very good success rate

- Yellow (60-79%): Good success rate

- Orange (40-59%): Fair success rate

- Red (<40%): Poor success rate

• Level Requirements: Shows required cooking level if you don't meet the requirements
• Comprehensive Coverage: Supports all cookable items including fish, meat, pies, bread, and more

How it Works

The plugin monitors menu entries when you hover over items in your inventory or bank. When it detects a cookable item, it:

1. Checks your current Cooking level

2. Calculates success chances based on the cooking formulas from OSRS

3. Displays the information in a tooltip with color-coding

4. Shows estimated XP for banked quantities

Supported Items

The plugin supports over 60 different cookable items including:

• All fish (from shrimps to manta rays)
• Meat products (chicken, beef, rabbit, etc.)
• Pies (meat pie, fish pie, wild pie, etc.)
• Bread and pizza
• Specialty items (karambwans, anglerfish, etc.)

Configuration

The plugin includes a configuration option to enable/disable the cooking tooltips:

• Show Cooking Tooltips: Toggle the display of cooking chance tooltips

Technical Details

The plugin uses the cooking success formulas from OSRS:

• Fire cooking and range cooking have different success rates
• Success rates are calculated based on your current cooking level
• Some items (like pies and bread) can only be cooked on ranges
• The plugin accounts for all the cooking parameters including burn rates and XP values
